Brooklyn Beats
This was the most important record of 1991. It is one of those EPs that you keep going back to, over and over, and over again. Look at the cast list: Joey Beltram, Ralphie Dee & Tommy Musto, How & Little, Mundo Muzique, Frankie Bones & Damon Wild, Mike Munoz. Collaborative EPs like this do not happen anymore, especially from such a talented lot. I think that's a bit of a shame as the diversity on this is one of the main appeals. That, and the fact that every single tune is brilliant. This is quite possibly the best house/techno EP ever released.
