Carolyn Harding has been recording soulful House records since the mid 80’s. Some of her earlier releases were “Gonna Get Your Love”, “Memories” & “Movin’ On” while one of her more recent collaborations was with Todd Terry & the group, Reel Soul feat. Carolyn Harding (Ultra Records). Her vocals perfectly represent the feeling of the songs she performs and Carolyn always adds her unique styling abilities to make a good record sound great.
Her 1st Easy Street release teams Carolyn with Mitch Moses & Vince Mcclean, whose previous efforts for the label include Lisa Hunt/”Stand Up”, IPO/”Freedpm” & Darryl D’Bonneau/”Just To Be With You”. Add to this team, the incomparable remixing talents of Lenny Fontana (Byron Stingily, Darryl D’ Bonneau, Powerhouse feat. Duane Harden (”I Got What You Need”), Lenny Fontana/”Spread Love”, “Chocolate Sensation” etc. Lenny’s been on the Club scene since the early 80’s, but his sound has always been totally up to the minute. His DJ gigs constantly take him all over the world - Ibiza, London, Hamburg, Rome, Tokyo & he’s constantly in demand at Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Club 69 etc.
“Superstar” has a deep mellow mood and Lenny’s superb mixes should work extremely well on the floor. No disco samples on this one.....just some powerful vocals, tasty tracks & a message that will have a universal appeal.
