 La Clave
The founding members of the Reggaeton group, La Clave, are Carlos Cepeda Guzman, a/k/a Carlito El Moreno, Jose Angel Ortiz, a/k/a Menor and Collins McCoy, a/k/a Clemente. Based in central Florida, the threesome developed their musical roots separately and in other locales, but it all came together seamlessly once they decided to pool their talents to create a musical experience that is at the forefront of today’s Latin, reggae & hip hop experience. The only piece necessary to complete the successful launch of this talented threesome was put in place once the guys teamed up with their producer, Ivan Chevere, p/k/a M.A.T.E., whose studio and production skills added the final creative element required to shape the group’s unique sound. Jose Angel Ortiz, a/k/a Menor, birthplace: Guayama, Puerto Rico. Sign: Sagittarius. Performed and composed several tracks on Noztra’s 1st album for Machete Music. Has collaborated with Felito El Caballote, a pioneer of Reggaeton music in Puerto Rico and with DJ Negro, who was Vico C’s first DJ and producer. Inspired byTempo, DJ Joe, Don Omar and Daddy Yankee.
