During the past several years, the Blaze/Easy Street “connection” has focused primarily on female divas.....De’ Lacy, Kathy Brown, Debbie Pender & Amira, but in the early days of this association, many of the duo’s productions for the labelfeatured artists such as Alexander Hope, Cassio, In Sync & System VIII. The latest collaboration – “One Man”, continues in the tradition of these classic soulful male house vocals, this time performed by Tyke, a bright young talent from Blaze’s home state of New Jersey.
Although the names may change, the basic ingredients alwaysmanage to stay the same...... powerful, soulful vocal performances....meaningful lyrics & melodic songs.......some deep underground house vibes & the musical wizardry of Blaze. Although Blaze has been turning out house classics for quite a while, it’s only in the past few years that their incredible artistry has come to be fully appreciated. “One Man” is just the latest example of why Blaze has finally earned the acclaim they so richly deserve.
